Twisted Roads, Breath-Taking Scenery !

Departing from Cape Town - the route takes us around the Atlantic Seaboard, via Hout Bay, Kommetjie and joins the most scenic roads along the coast through Betty's Bay and Kleinmond, then via the twisted roads of Viljoen Pass in Elgin, and over the very well ridden Franschhoek Pass in the heart of the Winelands. We overnight on a tranquil guest farm in the Paarl Winelands region.
Day 2 takes us up through the amazing and historical Bainskloof Pass, then Mitchels Pass into Ceres, then up over into the Karoo region before we dip down into the fruit growers area and the Koo Valley, before Montagu, and the famous Route 62 to Barrydale.
Day 3, we head south to the "Tip of Africa" , the Cape Agulhus for a lunch break, and then we head for Hermanus, the famous whale watching town, and into the Overberg along the N2 over Helshoogte Pass and the picturesque Sir Lowrys, before heading back into Cape Town.

Departing from Cape Town - the route takes us around the Spectacular Chapmans Peak drive, around Cape Point and along the False Bay coastline to the N2 and turns onto the R44 Coastline, a MUST for motorcycle riders, after which we overnight in the famous Whale Watching town or Hermanus.
We continue through the Overberg region onto the N2 national highway as far as Mossel Bay and then up through a series of stunning mountain passes to the Buffelsdrif Game Lodge in Oudtshoorn for our first taste of the BIG 5.
Our furthermost point alone the East Coast garden Route is the world renowned Addo Elephant Park close to Port Elizabeth. There we enjoy a FULL day Safari drive and are guaranteed to encounter hundreds of wild elephants, and other members of the BIG 5 family.
Our Western return route take us through the Karoo region, and the famous R62, the alternative route, also very popular with bikers worldwide.
Our final BIG 5 stop is the very popular Inverdoorn Game Reserve, 2 hours from Cape Town in the Tankwa Karoo region.
Close encounters with Cheetah, Lion, Rhino and Buffalo are a regular occurrence.
We will get a chance to photograph Cheetah in action as they sprint along a dusty strip in the park.
